If you have a medical condition and are taking any medication, or you are undergoing any type of medical treatment you should check with your doctor to ensure that it is safe to use aromatherapy in conjunction with your prescribed treatment. During pregnancy, it is not uncommon for a woman’s changing body to be sensitive to essential oils. Due to these sensitivities and all the changes that occur within the body during this time, you should always seek professional medical advice prior to using aromatherapy whilst pregnant. Even if you have used essential oils before without incident, you should still inform your doctor of any essential oils you plan to use during your pregnancy.
By purchasing our products, you accept responsibility to check with a professional before using any products that may interfere with drugs or medical conditions.
Certain essential oils (i.e. spices) can cause skin irritation for people with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend performing a small patch test prior to using any new product. A few essential oils we use such as bergamot and other citrus oils are phototoxic which means they can cause skin sensitization and skin discoloration in bright sunlight. These aromatherapy perfume blend oils should be avoided in weather with lots of sunlight.
Keep products out of the reach of children. Keep product away from sensitive body parts such as eyes, mouth, genitalia etc. Keep product away from sunlight and naked flames.
