List of 78 Tarot Card Timings | Time Frames Cheat Sheet

Last Updated: October 24, 2023

Tarot timing refers to a method used by tarot readers to associate the cards with specific time frames. This can be helpful when a question about when something is likely to occur surfaces in a reading.

In short; wands are days, swords are slightly longer than wands are weeks, cups relate to months (like a monthly menstrual cycle) and pentacles, like trees of the earth, can take years.

In my practice, I utilize the tarot decan wheel, a method based on astrology that associates each tarot card in the Minor Arcana with a specific period of time within the zodiac calendar. This system adds another layer of meaning to my readings, providing a potential timeline for events or shifts in energy.

Below is my complete list of tarot timings for each tarot card.
